Post office to offer
customers instant euros

Organising holidays this year will be a lot easier with the Post Office now offering instant euros, as well as a full range of travel services, to customers.

The Post Office has added a further 37 branches, including Maguiresbridge Post Office, offering instant euros to customers in Northern Ireland, bringing the total number of branches providing this over the counter euro service to 216 in the region.

Other Fermanagh Post Offices offering the service include Brookeborough, Derrygonnelly, Irvinestown, Lisbellaw, Lisnaskea and Tempo.

Until now, these branches offered customers a 24-hour pre-order service but, now, people can walk in off the street and buy euros there and then with no fuss. As with all holiday money at the Post Office, customers will benefit from 0% commission on their euro transactions. The Post Office is the UK's biggest foreign currency provider.

As well as the instant euro facility, the Post Office is offering a comprehensive range of travel services to take some of the hassle out of organising holidays.

These include award winning travel insurance, and Passport Check & Send (for British passports). The Post Office can check and validate your application form, send it to the appropriate passport office, provide you with a receipt and phone number so you can track the progress of your application

And, there is the prepaid Travel Money Card: this combines the security of travellers' cheques with the convenience of plastic, making it a secure, convenient way to carry foreign currency.
