Bail conditions imposed on a Lithuanian man

A Lithuanian National has appeared from custody at East Tyrone Magistrates Court, after being arrested in Enniskillen on 17th May.

Teisutis Rusenas (32) of Main Street, Trillick is charged with having lengths of piping and two plastic oil drums for use in the course of burglary or theft.

The officer in charge of the case was sworn and told the Court she believed she could connect the accused to the offence. She added there was no objection to bail, but pointed out Police feared the defendant might flee to his Lithuania, and, therefore, she asked for conditions to be imposed.

These included surrendering of Passport, residing at an address known to Police and obeying a curfew from 10pm – 7am. John Meehan RM released Rusenas on £250 bail to return to Enniskillen Magistrates Court on 4th June.
