The annual vintage charity parade and run will take place from Friday, 17th to Sunday, 19th August. The charity parade this year is in aid of NSPCC,NI.
The parade will leave Railway Car Park, Enniskillen, at 7.30 pm. and will travel through Belmore Street, Townhall Street, Church Street and Darling Street, returning by Queen Elizabeth Road.
A magnificent display of bands, vintage cars, tractors, lorries, bicycles, motor bikes and Disney characters will take place. There will also be a display of line dancing in the Jail Square and music at the Diamond in Enniskillen. Special areas will be set aside for disabled parking, along the Queen Elizabeth Road.
On Saturday at 11.00 am. the vintage cars will leave Killyhevlin Hotel for Fivemiletown along the meandering roads of Fermanagh to Tyrone, with lunch at the Valley Hotel. After lunch the drivers will leave for Kesh for afternoon tea and finishing at the Killyhevlin for dinner dance.
On Sunday the cars leave Killyhevlin Hotel at 11.00 am. for a short tour and finish in the Valley Hotel for lunch.
To date, the Erne Vintage Car Club has raised over £74,000 for various charities.
