An English firm, Cambridge Recycling Services, Ely, Cambridge, were awarded the contract to provide a mechanical biological treatment plant capable of processing 30,000 tonnes of household and trade waste, for the Drummee site.

There were four firms who tendered, including two from NI, one from Maghera, the other from Portadown.
