By now Fermanagh band 'El Capitan' will know if they have taken top place in the TG4's battle of the bands show 'Deis Roc'.
The talented four piece made it down to the last four of the competition, and competed live last night (Tuesday) in a bid to take the title.
The boys performed live on the show and after 15 minutes of voting the winner was announced live shortly before midnight.
'El Capitan' are made of Mark Phair, and Sean McGoldrick, both from Newtownbutler; along with Ronan McGrade from Enniskillen and David Jordan from Dungannon.
Through persistent hard graft and determination over the past year, 'El Capitan's' fan base has grown to include some high profile figures. Kila front man Ronan O'Snodaigh tipped 'El Capitan' as a band to watch out for and BBC's Karen Kirby commented that Mark Phair's voice is so good that, 'he could sing the phonebook'.
Coming from Fermanagh some may think of El Capitan as being 'geographically challenged' because bands from this area do not have it as easy as those who come from the major music hubs of Belfast and Dublin.
This being said however, 'El Capitan's' talent and originality have shone through and it has made this particular Fermanagh four piece into a solid, hardworking unit who are now beginning to reap the fruits of their labour.
