Professor Wynne Jones, principal of Harper Adams University College in Shropshire, will be flying into Northern Ireland next week.
He will be spending next Monday morning, November, 26th, in the Killyhevlin Hotel in Enniskillen
Senior students interested in courses at Harper Adams and in careers in land based industries have been invited to hear a presentation from Professor Jones.
Following his presentation in the Killyhevlin, Professor Jones will visit Portora Royal, which is the first school from which students from Northern Ireland came to Harper Adams.
The principal's presentation will feature the college facilities, the range of degree and diploma courses offered and career opportunities, the sporting and other student facilities, including the Harper Ireland and other clubs.
Discussions with the principal and past students can take place over coffee and biscuits afterwards.
One hundred of the 2000 students that enrol at Harper Adams each year come from the island of Ireland.
The 2007 Sunday Times Guide to UK Universities shortlisted Harper Adams for the UK University of the year award and placed Harper top of 125 UK Universities for the quality of its teaching and the employability of its graduates.
A warm welcome is extended to all interested in careers in the land-based industries and in finding out more about HND and degree courses. Courses are offered in Agriculture, Engineering, Conservation & Rural Development, Animal Care, Veterinary Nursing, Animal Health and Welfare, Agri-business, Consumer Studies and Food Marketing, Surveying and other areas.
