A chance meeting at a country 'You're A Star' competition18 months ago brought together two experienced country musicians who have since progressed to play all over the north together.
Robbie Pearson for Irvinestown and Florence Given from Fintona have vast experience playing and recording with various bands throughout the years.
Now after a short break from the industry both are enjoying getting back in front of an audience to play their music at weddings, banquets and dances.
Florence first took to the stage at the age of nine where she sang her first song 'The Three Leaved Shamrock' at a concert. She later went on to form her own band.
Robbie also took to the mike at the tender age of nine when he played the accordian with his father who's traditional roots go back to their native Donegal.
Six years later he was asked to play in a country and western band to which he later joined. He has released two albums, one an EP, the other entitled 'Shades of Country'.
It's fitting now that years later these two have come together and have now released a14-track album due to public demand. They have recorded some of their favourite songs and those requested by the public, with two self penned songs by Florence entitled 'Hand On My Heart' and 'Grant Me My Wish'. The album is selling well and receiving lots of air play from places as far away as London.
Country Features will hold their CD launch and gala dance in the Delaney Suite, Mahon's Hotel, Irvinestown on Wednesday, the 6th of December.
Special guests on the evening will include Barry Doyle and his band, Boxcar Brian, Kenny Minish, Liam Monaghan, Tomas Quinn, Andy Lowry, Country Beat, and Traditional Music with John and Conor Woods. There will be a special appearance on the night by All-Ireland lilting champion Nuala McBride. Compere on the evening will be radio DJ Paul Martin. Admission:£5.
They hve a very busy period leading up to Christmas including their first Belfast date on Friday December 8th in the Blezing Saddles Club and on New Year's Day they head to Altnagelvin Golf Club in Derry.
The album consists of two songs written by Florence, some of their personal favourites and songs requested by the public for them to record.
