On Wednesday, Enniskillen Collegiate U-14s had a great 2-0 win against a strong Bloomfield Collegiate team, in the 2nd Round of the Junior Schools cup. It was a keenly contested game from the outset. From the pass-back, Enniskillen pushed forward resulting in a 4 min. goal by

Audrey Herdman. Audrey was well supported by her fellow forwards, Cathy Graham, Alexa Grundings, Joanna Burleigh and Wendy Coulter.

Bloomfield came back strongly with six penalty corners but the defensive line of

Gemma McCutcheon, Anna Cromic, Vicky Walmsley and sub. Lauren Wilson (who came on at half-time) held firm. The backline was well held together by Leah Hood, the goal keeper who made saves which kept us in the game.

In the second half, Enniskillen Collegiate was well composed with a strong performance from the two subs. Angela Connor and Nicola Monteith.

In the 28th min. Judith Atwell had a break through with Cathy Graham on the receiving end getting the ball into the back of the net with a lovely reverse shot, making the final score 2-0.
