It was a mixed day at Enniskillen when all three sides played in hastily arranged friendly matches, with the U-18s and U-16s both recording victories over Monaghan, but the U-14s lost their first club match of the season falling to Clogher Valley.

MONAGHAN U-18S .................... 0
The U-18s scored three converted tries through Conor Burns, Niall Carberry and Stuart Robinson, to seal what turned out to be a comfortable win. James Scallon added two conversions, with Ruari Fee getting the other and also adding a penalty.
Following a poor first-half display, the team started to get the basics right in the second and showed great improvement leading to the win.
Burns and Carberry scored their tries following some very good team play with some good recycling and offloading of the ball. Robinson's try was the result of some excellent pace, bursting clear of defenders.
ENNISKILLEN U-16S ................. 12
MONAGHAN U-16S .................... 7
The U-16s had a close win over a well-drilled Monaghan side that have reached the semi-final of Armagh's floodlit competition, a win that keeps their winning run going.
Dan McManus had given 'Skins the lead with an unconverted try, following a well worked back move. After this, the team simply went to sleep, allowing Monaghan back into the game, an opening that they took to add a converted try and a half-time lead of 57.
The second half was an even affair with the young 'Skins playing a more controlled game. Eddie Roofe had a great game, once again getting through all the 'dirty' work that is essential for any team victory.
Gary Donegan was the try scorer following an excellent maul from 20 metres out by the forwards. This was reward for young Donegan, who suffered the embarrassment earlier of scoring on the wrong pitch, when he lost his bearings. Richie O'Callaghan added the two points to complete the scoring.
ENNISKILLEN U-14S ................. 10
CLOGHER VALLEY U-14S ............ 21
A slightly under strength side lost their first match against club opposition when they came up short against Clogher Valley, a side that they had beaten comfortably earlier in the season. Despite missing some key players, notably captain John McKenzie, this was a disappointing loss.
The forwards were guilty of turning the ball over too often, giving the visitors decent possession. The loss through injury of centre Stuart Connor proved vital, with Clogher Valley exposing the weakness in midfield, where their centre managed two tries.
Enniskillen No.8 Alex Stephens scored twice but this was scant consolation for a disappointing team performance.
Hopefully this will be a wake-up call for the team ahead of their semi-final tie with Ballynahinch in Armagh's floodlit competition next week.
