The Ulster Club Senior Hurling Fixtures for 2007 were announced last week. Frankie Quinn the Ulster Hurling Development Officer revealed that a record 60 teams from the nine counties will be competing in this prestigious competition which is now in its second year.
Fermanagh hurling will be represented two clubs: Lisbellaw, who will compete in Division 3, Section A , and Lisnaskea, who will be competing in the same Division but will be playing in Section B.
There will seven preliminary rounds with a home, away ties and occasionally a neutral venue where a visit to a competing team is prohibited by sheer distance. All Round One matches will puck off on Saturday 7th April. All subsequent games will also beheld on Saturday evenings with A 6. 30 pm start.
Lisbellaw's fixtures are :
Round One, 7th April v Newry Shamrocks; Round Two, 14th April away to Eoghan Rua; Round Three, 21st v Tir Na nOg; Round Four, 28th April away to Setanta; Round Five, 5 May Bye; Round Six, 26 May v Armoy; Round Seven, away to Bredagh.
Lisnaskea's fixtures are - :
Round One, 7th April v Newry Shamrock's ; Round Two, 14th April away to St Teresa's; Round Three, 21st April away to Cuchulian's, Armagh City; Round Four, 28th April away to MacCumhall's, Ballyboffey; Round Five, 5th May Bye; Round Six, 26th May v Shane O'Neill's; Round Seven, 2nd June v Rasharkin.
