On Saturday, Enniskillen 2nds entertained PSNI 2nd at the Bawnacre. This was the second round of the Intermediate Plate.

The young Skins team wanted to prove that they had the skills to progress to the quarter-finals.

INTERLINKING

The match started well with excellent interlinking play between Janet, Kirsty, Cathy and Wazzy pressuring the PSNI defence.

There were good shots on goal from Tammy and Louise with one resulting in a short corner.

Kirsty took a straight strike, which was followed by Cathy slotting the ball past the goalie.

The second half started with promising play from PSNI hoping to get a goal back, putting the Enniskillen defence of Andrea, Gemma, Amy, Teapot and Rachel under pressure.

Enniskillen fought well, not calling on the goalie Jennie Allen to make any saves.

PRESSURE

Skins once again put PSNI under pressure with great passing between Naomi and Flick ending in another beautiful goal from Cathy Graham.

Enniskillen kept the scoring up when they were rewarded with another short corner with Janet placing it perfectly into the back of the net ending the game with a well deserved 3-0 win for the Skins side.
