Prince of Country Cool on stage at Ardhowen

Northern Ireland Prince of Country Cool James Quinn will be playing at The Ardowen Theatre, this Friday 8th June.

Audiences can expect to enjoy a repertoire of contemporary and country tracks including some from James Quinn's new album 'Lonely Weekends' which is also launched this month!

James said: "We are really excited about introducing some new tracks from the latest album but audiences can also expect to hear foot-stomping classics as well as some contemporary songs. We are also thrilled that we will be joined on stage by an all-star line up of guests which includes Malachi Cush, Ann Williamson and Brian Coll."

The popularity of Country Music has seen a huge renaissance in Northern Ireland - artists such as Leanne Rimes, Keith Urban, The Dixie Chicks and Garth Brooks bringing whole new audiences to appreciate the genre. James Quinn is son of velvet-toned stalwart Brendan Quinn and winner of the Best Newcomer Gong at the Prestigious Irish World Gala Awards. James has fast been building his own brand of Country Cool over the past few years touring across the UK, Ireland and wider afield. The James Quinn Band includes James 'Cloudy' Henry on Keyboard and harmonies, Noel McCeary on Bass, Stephen Quinn on drums and Ivan Gilliland will be augmenting the band on guitar throughout the tour.
