Make a date in the special treat section of your diary to enjoy the Martello Jazz Band playing in the National Trust's stunning grounds at Castle Coole on Sunday 3 June from 3pm to 5pm. Due to the popularity of last year's Jazz Picnic this is the first of three open-air jazz events planned for the summer season and will provide the perfect opportunity to sit back and enjoy a lazy Sunday of good music and relaxation.
The rolling lawns of Castle Coole's landscaped parklands are the perfect place to unfold a deckchair or spread a rug and settle down to a picnic. Whether you are a jazz enthusiast or just looking for a fun day out with a difference, the smooth sounds of jazz in the elegant surroundings of Castle Coole is a great introduction to jazz and a real treat for those already hooked.
Later in the season, Castle Coole looks forward to welcoming the Panama Jazz Band and the New Orleans Jazz Band.
