Gardai in Ballyshannon are investigating a rape on a rock music fan.

The victim was attacked at the Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival in Ballyshannon on Sunday morning last.

A Garda spokesperson confirmed yesterday (Tuesday) that a woman had been the victim of a sexual assault in the early hours of Sunday, 3rd June. Ballyshannon Garda are investigating the matter and their enquiries are ongoing. No arrests have yet been made.

Gardai at Ballyshannon are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
