Michelle joins well-known Enniskillen legal firm

An experienced Pettigo solicitor has joined the legal practical of PJ Flanagan Solicitors, who have an office in Church Street, Enniskillen.

Michelle, a native of Pettigo, Co. Donegal, is a daughter of Michael and Kitty McVeigh, who own Tir Connaill Lodge, a guest house on the Sligo Road, Enniskillen. She is married to Kevin Kelly and now lives in Enniskillen.

Michelle attended Mount Lourdes, Enniskillen, and subsequently studied for a Bachelor of Law (LLB) in Law and Government at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown.

While completing her apprenticeship at James McNulty Solicitors in Omagh, Michelle proceeded to successfully complete her professional postgraduate course at the Institute for Professional Legal Studies at Queen's University, Belfast, and graduated with a distinction.

Having worked at James McNulty Solicitors for the last six years, she moved back to Enniskillen in April where she took up employment with PJ Flanagan, Solicitors, following the retirement of Jo Thompson, a partner in the firm in excess of 30 years.

Michelle covers all areas of law but, particularly enjoys conveyancing and matrimonial matters.

She was formally welcomed to the county at a recent sitting of the Magistrates Court by Andrew Reid, Chairperson of the Fermanagh Bar Association. The sentiments were echoed by Resident Magistrate, Liam McNally and Prosecution Officer Emma O'Haire.

Chris McGettigan, on behalf of himself, and his father Tony, another partner in the business, and staff, also welcomed Michelle to her new post.
