Art of
regeneration programme booking



Fermanagh District Council Art of Regeneration programme is now taking bookings Arts from Community/Voluntary groups who wish to participate in the second year of the Art of Regeneration Programme.

The Art of Regeneration Programme is based at the Share Centre Lisnaskea and works on an out reach initiative. This programme is available for groups in Fermanagh only during 2006 - 2007, 40 local community groups and organisations benefited from the Art of Regeneration FREE workshop programme managed by the Council Arts Office.

The five Creative disciplines for the Art of Regeneration Programme are:

Literature

Exploring Scriptwriting and story telling, this literature programme offers individuals and groups the unique opportunity of participating in a definitive self perpetuating workshop programme focusing on story telling and creative writing.

Adult programme : participants must be aged 16+

Carnival Arts

Workshops consist of creating and designing props costumes and floats for carnivals or festivals.

This Art form is ideal for community/ voluntary groups who have an annual Carnival/ festival/ parade and want to give their event the extra wow factor!

Suitable for ALL AGES

Environmental Sculpture

This programme focuses on Fine Art practice and the developmental processes of working directly with the land through the medium of ephemeral public art. An interesting residency with huge opportunity for high quality art work created in the great outdoors focusing on strong environmental ethics as core underlying themes and objectives for creative output

Suitable for ADULTS aged 16 yrs+

Dance

A massive success in year 1, Contemporary & Traditional Dance Workshops aimed at developing health and well being whilst learning Contemporary and Traditional Set & Step dance. Each individual programme works towards a final outcome of dance performance

Have fun while getting fit and learning to dance.

Traditional Music

An Art form which explores many areas such as singing, Tin whistle, flute, guitar, banjo, accordion, concertina, uileann pipes, bouzouki and fiddle etc.
