Handbag stolen

Police in Enniskillen are urging owners not to leave valuables on show in vehicles following an incident on the grounds of the hospital sometime during Thursday last, 7th June.

The owner returned to her car shortly before 5.30pm to discover the front passenger window smashed and her handbag missing.

A police spokesperson said: "When not in use cars should be kept secure in a locked garage, but where this is not possible owners should park in well-lit areas and should make sure that cash and valuables are always removed when the vehicle is left unattended. Where possible, the security facia of radios and compact disc players should be removed and kept in a safe place.

Anyone who has any information regarding recent car crime is asked to contact the police on 0845 600 8000 or 'Crimestoppers' on 0800 555111.
