Chance to compete for £16,000 prize-money

Fermanagh 8-Ball Pool players are being given the opportunity to better their game, play the good players, play for £16,000 in prize-money, as well as represent their county at the UK 8-Ball Masters in Barnsley, England, in August all for just a £20 entry fee.

Ireland's Pub Players 8-Ball Pool Tour are organising two individual 8-ball (reds and yellows) qualifying events for direct entry into the 2007 UK Pool Masters in Barnsley, England, from Friday 3rd–Sunday 5th August with a £16,000 prize-fund up for grabs.

The 2007 UK Pool Masters will be played on 14 supreme pool tables and will be the first major pool event to play a Double Elimination Format to the semi-finals giving all players two chances.

There will be a extra tournament on the next day of the UK Pool Masters called Bonus Sunday starting at 11.00am for players not left in the Masters with entry fee being £10 and £5 for juniors (U-16) all played to the World Rules. Direct entry into the UK Pool Masters costs of £250.

OPEN QUALIFIERS:

Ireland's Pub Players 8-Ball Pool Tour will be organising two open qualifiers with the first tournament taking place on Saturday, 23rd June, 2007 in the Coach Inn, Omagh (limited entry), which will give two players the opportunity to compete in the 2007 UK 8-Ball Pool Masters with hopefully all expenses paid for as well, which includes entry fee, flight, and bed and breakfast.

The entry fee is £20 and the format will be played in a straight knockout the best of 11 to the final with the final being the best of 13, which consists of a open draw (one draw) for all entries.

CO. DONEGAL 8-BALL POOL CHAMPIONSHIP

All players are reminded that entries would need to be in by this Thursday night for the 2007 Co. Donegal Open 8-Ball Pool Championship, which takes place this Saturday in Ballybofey with two time slots in operation starting at 10.00am and 2.00pm. TYRONE U-14 AND U-16 POOL CHAMPIONSHIP

Entries are being taken from Fermanagh junior pool players for the 2007 U-14 and U-16 Tyrone 8-Ball Pool Championship (reds and yellows).
