Lisnaskea will again play host to the popular Fool Time Community Festival, which will take place next Sunday 20 April.
Now in its fourth year, the Festival is growing in size, range and number of performers. There is a lot to see and enjoy such as characters from Willy Wonka, green aliens, purple peacocks, blonde cheerleaders, several marching bands and lots lots more.
A change from previous years is that there will be pre-parade events for spectators to enjoy, free of charge.
From 1.30pm in the Buttermarket Yard, the comedy duo The Grundy Brother will eat fire, rest on a bed of nails and tell a few jokes. Killadeas Day Care Centre clients have been learning to stiltwalk under expert supervision from Streetwise Circus and they will put on a performance in the Buttermarket Yard. The Chinese Lion Dancers will also perform in costume so expect lots of fun and noise. Watch out for the window displays in several of the shop fronts as they have been made and designed by pupils at St Eugene's Secondary in Roslea. The parade then kicks off at 2.30pm and will take its time getting along Main Street. Come along, enjoy the spectacle, bring friends.
