Hooked on the Dr!

With smart-aleck hits and stage antics that included dressing up as their own opening acts, Dr Hook gladly assumed the role of the clown princes of 70's pop. Their off-centre, sardonic approach to music kept Hook and his cronies in the charts for over ten years, netting them thirty-five gold and platinum records The band was formed in 1968 when new Jersey native Dennis Locorriere and Southern honky-tonk veteran Ray Sawyer hooked up (Sawyers eye patch, the result of an injury received in a car accident in 1967, inspired the band's name).

This is a special once only chance to see and hear all of the hits of Dr Hook performed to perfection at the Ardhowen Theatre Enniskillen on Friday night 25th April with a performance start time of 8pm.

Dr Hook'd have recreated to the finest detail the atmosphere; audience participation and the zany antics of the original band live on stage.

Songs from their albums such as Sylvia's mother, More like the movies, When your in love with a beautiful woman, If not you, A Little bit more, Sharing the night together, etc are played live and to perfection by this sensational band and provide everlasting music memories.

The previous tour by this Internationally acclaimed band sold out every theatre in the U.K and received standing ovations. It is therefore advisable to book early to ensure admission.

Ticket price is set at £13.50 and £11.00 concessionary are available online from the Ardhowen Theatre web site at www.ardhowentheatre online or from the Theatre Box Office on (028) 6632 5440
