The boys from St Joseph's College in Enniskillen can now boast that they really are the 'Kings of the Castles'.
As part of their Year Nine History Project the students were asked to make models of Norman castles as a home-based activity. This project focuses on collaborative and active learning in the classroom and at home. It allowed students to display their creative talents as well as allowing parents to become more involved in their son's learning.
The final models were brought to school for display and the winning entries were judged by St Joseph's Principal, Jimmy Jackson-Ware and history teacher Anita Rasdale. The standard was extremely high with all pupils receiving a certificate of achievement for their excellent work.
