Tantalise your tastebuds and savour the full Flavour of Tyrone at Taste of the Valley this Saturday, 23rd June at the glorious Blessingbourne Estate, Fivemiletown.
Purchase quality, locally produced food courtesy of the Farmer's Market stalls, who will be in abundance on the day. If that is not enough to tickle your tastebuds, there will be an array of cheeses available for purchase, fresh from Fivemiletown Creamery, as well the old favourite mouth-watering barbeque.
Craft producers will also be present to tempt you with unique handmade gifts. Why not chill out on the perfectly manicured lawn and listen to the Bands, Irish traditional musicians or watch the beautiful Irish dancers from the Clogher Valley.
A vintage rally will be in attendance and visitors can avail of the opportunity to take a Land-Rover Safari of the Estate and watch the amazing quad bike displays courtesy of Todd's Leap off road driving centre.
For the more leisurely visitor why not take a guided tour or stroll on a nature walk of this magnificent estate before you partake of the barbeque and refreshments?
Of course, there will be plenty to keep the kids entertained with pony rides, 'Walk on the Wild Side' with Ulster Wildlife Trust and much more come and meet Crunchie and Linton the miniature goats or picnic with the peacocks!
Blessingbourne is a beautiful country estate, a few minute's walk from Fivemiletown, on the border of Tyrone and Fermanagh. The glorious country getaway estate is located just off the main A4 route to Enniskillen and is surrounded by mature woodland and picturesque gardens. It also boasts a superb 18 acre coarse fishing lake, countless woodland walks and private tennis court.
The 'Taste of the Valley' family fun day is being organised by Flavour of Tyrone and Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council in conjunction with North West Region Cross Border Group, to mark the commemoration of the Flight of the Earls and Plantation of Ulster, funding has been provided by the Return of the Earls Committee and the event will support Cancer Research UK.
