Aislinn is a natural leader

Mount Lourdes Grammar School student, Aislinn Adair is a natural born leader. Having won through from her school for a youth leadership event organised by Enniskillen Rotary Club, she came first in County Fermanagh from all of the other second-level schools' representatives and, not content with that, she came joint first in the regional heat of the competition.

There, she represented Enniskillen Rotary Club against opposition from the West and from schools across the Border. Two other winners got through and these three – along with 16 other people from throughout Ireland – will be heading off next month to Strasbourg. It alternates with Brussels as the seat of the European Parliament where all 19 Irish representatives will take part in a debate in the European Court building.

This event is being co-sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of Ireland and the EU.
