Swift's Butchery cuts with the best!

Swift's Supervalu in Lisnaskea is celebrating this week after winning the coveted 'Best Supervalu Butchery Counter' in the country for the month of November. Swift's Butchery was awarded for its flair, creativity, range, quality, and cleanliness after achieving top marks in Supervalu's butchery audits. The store's butchery department beat off stiff competition from 36 other Supervalu stores to take the title.

Head butcher Aidan Tierney said he was delighted on hearing the news.

"This award is a testament to the effort that we as a store have put into this counter.

"Our aim is to provide quality and choice for our customers so that they get exactly what they are looking for.

Meanwhile, Darren Given, the store's manager congratulated his butchers:.

"It's great that Aidan, Martin and John's efforts have been recognised. As a company we have been trying to create a butcher's shop within a supermarket.

" All our produce is Irish and we try to support local so that our customers know exactly what they are getting. We have introduced venison and pheasant recently and have become the type of butchery that people have faith in."
