Atlas International launch in Belize

The leading overseas property company, Atlas International, is thrilled to announce its latest expansion, into the tropical oasis of Belize, in addition to Spain, Cyprus, the Greek Islands and Turkey.

Belize is located in the heart of the Caribbean. It is blessed with many natural wonders, from exotic species of animals and Mayan ruins, to waterfalls and rain forests. It has exquisite tropical climes with average temperatures of 72 degrees. The friendliness and welcoming hospitality of the locals is an overwhelming feature, and there are many festivals and fiestas throughout the year during which the country comes alive. Belize offers many recreational opportunities, such as diving, on the second longest barrier reef in the world, world class fishing, surfing, sailing, and waterskiing.

The Atlas properties are located in the country's main districts of Belize City, Ambergris Caye, Orange Walk Town, San Ignacio, Belmopan, Blue Creek, Corozal, Cockscomb Basin, and Chetumal. There are a selection of apartments, duplexes, villas and townhouses, with a range of styles, sizes and prices.

The prices of properties in Belize start from £72,000, a typical example being 'Barracuda', a two bedroom property located in East Bay. With two bedrooms and one bathroom, the design of this property is charming, with a white crisp exterior and yellow shutters. With over a thousand square feet, there are two spacious covered porches. The living, dining and kitchen areas are light and airy, with plenty of windows and open floor space. The dining room features a garden entrance, which provides even more access to warm sunlight and cool sea air.

All of the Atlas properties offer excellent value for money, whether clients are looking for a lucrative investment or just a new holiday home. Atlas International's European Sales Manager James Dearsley states: "Belize offers a unique chance for clients to buy into an emerging market. Property prices are low, but enjoying an incredible double figure growth rate."

Foreigners are legally allowed to purchase property in Belize and there are many other incentives for Britons keen to make the move, including a long history of private property ownership rights. Property ownership laws in Belize are similar to those in the UK, making the buying process simple and straightforward. What is especially appealing about Belize is that it has no capital gains tax, no inheritance tax, and there is a fixed currency exchange rate, stabilising the economy.

To further simplify the process, Atlas offers clients a full-service package to assist them during every stage of the buying process. James concludes: "Our aim is to offer a comprehensive service, ensuring that all our clients are satisfied with their purchases and receive all the help that they may possibly need. Our services include legal, fiscal, furniture and insurance requirements, along with property management and after-sales assistance."
