Fermanagh passengers benefit from 20 new coaches

Fermanagh passengers are set to travel in comfort following the announcement that Translink in Enniskillen has taken delivery of the next generation of Goldline coaches.

Twenty new, high specification vehicles, supplied by Volvo Bus and built with Spanish Sunsundegui coach bodies have been handed over in a £4million investment by Translink.

RECLINING SEATS

Each coach is equipped with 53 reclining seats, all fitted with three-point seatbelts, full accessibility features, higher seating position, increased luggage space, full air conditioning, electronic destination equipment, and full CCTV system, including reversing cameras. Nor surprisingly, they are expected to prove popular among passengers.

"We are confident", said Catherine Mason, Group Chief Executive of NITHC and Translink, "that our passengers will like the new additions to our fleet as they represent the latest in style, design and features".

ROUTES

The new coaches will be operating on some of the most popular Goldline Express routes, including Belfast–Dublin, Derry–Dublin, Downpatrick-Dublin and Belfast–Enniskillen and Omagh and, according to Translick, they will mean greater comfort and an even more enjoyable travel experience for all users.
