Information on depression

There will be a public talk and information event about depression in the Aisling Centre on Tuesday 6th May at 8.00pm organised by Aware Defeat Depression.

Aware Defeat Depression is a voluntary organisation which provides information and support to all those affected by depression.

Guest speakers are Dr Diana Day Cody and Brenda O'Donoghue, both of whom are based in Enniskillen Community Mental Health Team at Belmore House. The title of their talk is 'Depression: How Can I help Myself?' and as the title implies they will be giving some practical advice on how everyone affected by the illness can help themselves.

At the conclusion of the talk there will be an opportunity to ask questions. Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend.

Information will also be given on the evening about the work of Aware Defeat Depression and in particular about the Enniskillen self-help support group for depression sufferers and carers, which also present meets in the Aisling Centre on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month.
