Irvinestown has taken on a decidedly colourful, almost psychedelic look, as the Lady of the Lake Festival kicked-off on Friday night.
The 'Swinging Sixties' theme was well and truly obvious with the arrival of the new Lady, Donna Law on the Main Street in a Mini Cooper. Friday night saw Festival-goers party the night away with a relaxed, holiday mood tangible in the air.
After Friday night's festivities, Saturday's sunshine added an extra touch of magic to the popular Craft and Country fair as crowds queued to sample the tasty treats on offer.
With the Bonnie Baby Competition and the Pet Show also taking place on Saturday, the cute and the cuddly were proudly displayed for all to behold.
Monday saw more people, and bears, taking to the streets as the annual Teddy Bears Picnic attracted huge crowds, and BBC Radio Ulster's Hugo Duncan ensured there was never a dull moment.
Tonight (Wednesday' ushers in a new event for the Lady of the Lake, with a night dedicated to the Festival's favourite horse, 'Boomer', with dinner and dancing in Mahon's Hotel until the wee small hours.
Tomorrow, Thursday, the fun continues as old and young reminisce about the 60's and take part in this year's Fancy Dress parade where there are sure to be some eye-catching costumes to stump the judges.
Friday is a day dedicated to sport, with the Bawnacre the hub for most of the activities, including Crazy Sports, Novelty Events, and Model Car Racing.
This weekend coming also promises to be every bit as entertaining as the one just past. The hugely popular array of trucks will start to arrive for the annual charity Truck Convey which should 'rev' things up throughout Saturday and Sunday. Clay Pigeon shooting and helicopter rides over Fermanagh are also planned to add a touch of the extreme to the events.
The Festival, now in its' 28-year, comes to an end on Sunday night, as the Truck Convey leaves the Bawnacre for the Main Street, where all the action will take place. Music will be by Anthony McBrien, and a presentation and prizes will be made. The final night, in what is sure to be another successful Festival, will be rounded off with the Grand Finale of the Irish Karaoke Championship.
