Parkers in Enniskillen should log on to a new website formed by the 'Enniskillen Workers Protest Group' (EWPG).
The website can be viewed at www.ewpg.blogspot.com.
And the group are keen to drum up support and interested parties should log on for all the latest in the fight against increasing parking charges in the town.
The EWPG was formed in response to a proposal from the Department of Regional Development Roads Service to change the status of Queen Street car park from 'free' to 'pay and display'.
This particular car park is availed of by workers from local offices, and by others employed in the town's retail sector.
A spokesperson for the group explained: "If adopted, the average worker would be required to pay £700 per annum in parking charges. This is unacceptable, and EWPG is leading the fight against this proposal. In order to succeed we need as many people as possible to get involved in our campaign. A passive attitude only plays into the hands of Roads Service, and Queen Street alone is unlikely to satisfy either their avarice, or that of NCP."
