* The best in the business came to Lough Erne for a round of the World Cup in Water-skiing and thrilled the huge attendance at the Broad Meadow.
* Fermanagh fisherman, Patsy Treacy, was once again top of the pile when he captured the winners trophy at the VFI National Fly Fishing Championships.
* Six Fermanagh racers took to the track and came home with lots of silverware in the Clubmans motor cycling racing short circuit championships held in Co Down.
* Yvette Truesdale won three championship classes in National Dressage Championships held at Necarne.
* Sports Officer was employed at Erne Integrated in September in order to take sport in college onto the next level.

* The late Bob Kerr was remembered with the first playing of the Robert Kerr memorial trophy at North Fermanagh Cricket Club with members of the Irish one day squad who took part in the cricket world cup present.
* Crumlin driver, Rodney White took victory in the System Signs Clubman Stages rally after a hard fought battle.
* Clogher Valley won the battle of the local rivals when they defeated Enniskillen by 16 points thanks to a powerful pack display.
* Malachy O'Rourke was finally appointed as Fermanagh senior football manager after a long drawn out process.
* Belcoo made a their own little bit of history when they won their first ever senior trophy as they defeated Teemore in the Senior Football League Division One decider.
* Kesh man, Kyle Lafferty scored the equalising goal in Northern Ireland's away draw against Sweden.
* Richard Cathcart and Martin Brady won the 2007 FM Contracts Down Rally.
* Denise Cassidy competes for Northern in the World Cup Darts event in Rosmalin in the Netherlands having secured her place as the six counties number one.
* Shane Goan and Barry Owens are both members of the Fermanagh team which won the Railway Cup. Defeating Munster in Croke Park.
* Three Portora boys, Mark Hood, Paul Galbraith and Ashley Finlay represented Ulster in Schools Cup Rugby.
* The Fermanagh Herald Sports Personality of the month for was special Olympics athlete Emma Jamison who won gold and Silver medals at the Special Olymics in Shanghai.
November
* Enniskillen Town United and Irvinestown Wanderers game in the Fermanagh and Western First Division is abandoned by the referee after he claimed to have been verbally abused by both camps.
* Andrew Little scored in Northern Ireland's under 19 draw with Cyprus in the European Championship.
* Newtownbutler bowed out of the Ulster Club after a spirited display against Derry Champions, Glenullen while in the Intermediate and Junior Ulster Club Championship Kinawley and Belnaleck also saw their hopes dashed.
* Ballinamallard swoop to collect both the under 15 and under 13 Brendan Keogh Youth Leagues.
* St Michael's Niall Cullen collected his second individual gold medal in the Provincial Cross Country Championships.
* GAA President, Nickey Brennan, launched the Fermanagh County Board's five year strategy which outlines the plans for the promotion of GAA in the county over the next half decade.
* Irvinestown dart thrower Denise Cassidy captured the Northern Ireland Ladies Open Singles title. She also picked up the mixed doubles title and the ladies double title.
* Niall McShea, the Monea driver, won the group N section of the World Rally Championship which was held in Tyrone, Fermanagh, Leitrim and Donegal. Amazingly the talented Fermanagh man finished 10th overall.
* Enniskillen Collegiate win the Ulster Schools Cup under 15 table tennis competition.

* Two St Michael's students, Stuart Connor and Ciaran Dolan got an international call up to the Irish Schools Under 16 athletics team.
* Popular Enniskillen man Gary Beckett moves from his beloved Derry City to Finn Harps.
* Chesley Wilson was in record breaking form upon her return from injury at the Ulster Short Course Championship.
* A motion from Enniskillen Gael's club was passed at County Convention which asks that every unit of the Association should debate the issue of government grant aid for Inter County Players.
* Susannah Hughes Jordon, qualified for the under 16 match play finals in Dublin during December.
* Fermanagh hurler, Paul McManus is selected for the Nickey Rackard Cup All Star team.
* The Western Zone Bowls team are crowned British Champions beating off some stiff opposition from the English champions in the final.
* Newtownbutler's, David McQuillan, won the inaugural 8 Ball Pool Championship.
