A 20-year-old man, Jason Moffitt, from Lisdevrick, Florencecourt, remains in a 'serious' condition in the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, after sustaining facial and other injuries as a result of a fall from a height at the rear of licensed premises in Enniskillen.
A PSNI spokesman stated that at 1.20am on Monday morning last, a man was found at the back of the Crowe's Nest, suffering from head injuries: "He was taken to hospital with head and spinal injuries. He had fallen from the upstairs rear of the Crowe's Nest from an area used by smokers. He was taken to the intensive care unit of the Erne Hospital where his condition on Monday was described as 'stable'.
Yesterday, a spokeswoman for the Royal Victoria Hospital where Jason was transferred, said he remained in a serious condition.
However, a family member told the 'Herald' later on yesterday that Jason's condition was a bit better than the previous day. She did not think that he had suffered severe spinal injuries, that his injuries were mostly to the face, with some bruising of the brain and lung.
