'Things to do' in Ballinamore

A full range of part time courses aimed at adults and teens began at The Shaylyn Centre in Ballinamore, in Leitrim recently.

These include Folklore Studies, Creative Writing, Digital Photography, Arts Marketing, Drama, Drawing and Yoga as well as a new course in Irish Dance and Music Skills.

Most of the courses will run to the first or second week in June. Each involves one session a week for the six weeks apart from the Irish Dance and Music Course, which involves two sessions a week for the six weeks. The Shaylyn Centre received a huge response to their call for qualified and experienced tutors in the region.

The courses are aimed at different levels from beginners to intermediate and advanced levels so those interested are urged to call for more details and to book their place. Call the Shaylyn Centre on 071 9681101 or email info@shaylyn.net
