Strong interest in land based industries

That was very much the message at the recent open evening at Greenmount Campus, College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE). Over 500 parents, prospective students and friends heard John Fay, CAFRE Director, welcome them to the Campus.

There are a diverse range of opportunities within agriculture, horticulture and related sectors, and studying one of the many courses at Greenmount Campus is an ideal start for people wishing to pursue a career in these areas.

The land-based sector promises challenging diverse career paths and each year CAFRE students find satisfying and enjoyable jobs.

Visitors attending the Campus were very impressed by all that they saw but for many it was the informal, friendly atmosphere and the welcome provided by staff and students which impressed them most.

Anyone interested in any CAFRE course you can learn more by calling freephone 0800 028 4291 or by visiting the CAFRE website:www.cafre.ac.uk
