Table quiz for Ulster Cancer Foundation

A fund-raising Night will be held in the Cosy Corner, Kiltyclogher Co. Leitrim on Saturday 26 January.

Proceeds are in aid of the Ulster Cancer Foundation and will be presented to Peggy McGovern, Carol Corrigan and Bridie Sweeney, from Glenfarne and Belcoo.

These three intrepid ladies have already scaled the Great Wall of China, tramped the paddy fields of Vietnam and toiled up Ben Nevis in endeavours to raise money for charity. In April this year they propose to walk in Jordan for the above charity.

The format of the night is that a Table Quiz will be held with the illustrious Roisin White as Quizmaster. Patrons of the Cosy will know Roisin White from several singing nights held there.

Roisin is a teacher by profession and although retired, her desire to impart knowledge is unquenched thus her position on this occasion is as arbitrator of who is right and who is wrong!!

Afterwards there will be music by Keltic Folk from Sligo who will be joined by various other singers and musicians from all over Ireland.
