A brand new housing development, comprising 13 detached houses in five house types at Killygullan Drive, Lisnaskea has won a Best Newcomer award for build excellence from the Construction Register Limited (CLR).
The development, which overlooks Lisnaskea town on the mart side and backs on to the Ballagh Road, was built by McGillin Brothers, Tattyreagh, Omagh and represents their first venture into house building.
Its youthful directors, Michael and Brian McGillin attended the awards' ceremony and, afterwards, Michael reflected on their project: "We were very pleased with the finished product. Really, we're very pleased with everything, the appearance of the scheme, the architectural work, the lay out and the character of the site. Obviously, we are over the moon to receive the award".
Terri Mulholland, who is head of Marketing, Information & Administration with the Construction register Limited said her firm believed that the awards were noteworthy of excellence and standards in the local building community.
"The McGillins registered with us a year ago and they are valued clients. The Best Excellence awards are difficult to get and, once given, they represent a big plus for the winners".
The award-winning development, in which the homes are built to builder's finish, can be accessed along the Chapel Brae and then via Mountview Drive.
The homes are built with Acheson and Glover Laynon brick and, internally, are heated by oil-fired central heating and are equipped with full insulation to current building regulations. There are five house types, ranging from 147 square metres to 178 square metres, the largest of which has five bedrooms and a sixth en-suite on the ground floor.
It and some others are still available for purchase. Enquiries can be made to any of the selling agents, McCaffrey Bros, Lisnaskea; Westend Property Sales, Enniskillen and Pollock, Omagh.
