Getting engaged soon?

Are you planning to pop the big question soon? Could you do with some help in making your dream engagement come true?

If the answer is 'Yes' then a brand new BBC NI television series could be the answer to your prayers.

Planning your wedding proposal can be a stressful affair. It's one of those days when you want everything to run smoothly. Surely it can't be that hard to propose to your unsuspecting partner?

All you need are the right location, ambiance, the well-chosen few words and the element of surprise to sweep your other-half off their feet and make it one of the most memorable days of your life. Achieving this, however, can prove to be pretty difficult.

Not only is there pressure involved in the planning and delivery of the proposal, but, statistically, only 28% of those recently surveyed thought their proposal lived up to expectation.

For many, the speculation as to whether the answer is 'Yes' or 'No' understandably outweighs everything else. But, with a little help from someone who knows everything there is to know about planning the perfect engagement, you could make your proposal the most memorable, romantic and magical experience possible.

Enter Franc, Ireland's number one engagement, wedding and event planner. He's the themed event specialist, the fairy godfather who can make any dream come true.

And right now he's looking for six individuals planning to get engaged between now and April 2008 (leap year ladies) to take part in his brand new series for BBC Northern Ireland called 'An Engagement With Franc'.

It doesn't matter if you are thinking of a big or small engagement, whether it's at home or abroad, if it's your first or twenty first proposal - if you feel you could do with the advice and expertise from the man with the magic wand, and you're up for some fun, then we want to hear from you.
