The PC Guide
www.pcguide.com
Don't be put off by the appearance of this site, amateur design is not always indicative of a poor site. This site will help you to learn all there is to know about computers.
Charles Kosierok, whose aim is to present a premier site for detailed PC reference information, created this site. Unfortunately in some sections it doesn't look like it has been updated in a while, however it contains some invaluable information nonetheless.
If you would like to know more about how a PC works, get into PC Fundamentals and dabble with motherboards, system BIOS, memory and processors then this site will give you the inside track.
Like I said snazzy layout isn't the site's strong point, but at least it's fast. Intended as a reference source, the information contained at The PC Guide is not aimed at helping you solve a problem, it's for those who want to learn more about how a PC works in quite some detail.
