Brookeborough's Struttin Stars have done it again. Following a successful trip to the All-Ireland line dancing championships held in Breaffy International Sports Arena, Castlebar, earlier this month, the group returned with an array of prizes.
Group leader Mary Wray said she was overwhelmed by the results which were a just reward for the hard work and commitment of the dancers in training.
In all, 25 individual members took part in the competition with four coming away with first place titles. The children's team of four came second while Jackie Gallagher was placed second in the adult novice and adult charity challenge.
In the group competition, there were 10 dancers who completed a selection of dances including Funky, Cha-cha and Hilt. The group were placed third overall.
Following their success, a winners party will be held in Kelly's Inn, Garvaghy at the end of May.
Through the 'Herald', the club wished to express thanks to parents, sponsors and all those who make donations, for their continued support, and also to Brookboro GFC for the use of its facilities for practice.
