A great cross field ball from Tommy McElroy found a swift moving Maguire on 48 minutes but a quick left foot shot on the turn trails wide.

Finlay gets on the ball again but his long ball into the Fermanagh defence is mopped up by a Hugh Brady who is on top form on the edge of the square.

Frustration begins to tell as a few decisions go against Finlay but as the clock ticks down the Monaghan forward-come-midfielder battles even though many of his team mates have given up.
