Soroptimist pays tribute

Members of Enniskillen and District Soroptimist Club gathered at Ardess Church recently for a tree planting ceremony in memory of Denise Mc Claughry.

They were welcomed by Chancellor Eric Mc Girr and Bob McCurry and were joined by Collie Mc Claughry, Denise's husband, her daughters Emma and Sarah, son John, her grandchildren, and a large number of her carers and friends.

The Club President, Liz Sheridan paid tribute to Denise who had been a Soroptimist since 1986 and had always given of her time and talents unstintingly, being a loyal and faithful member until illness prevented her from attending meetings.

As Denise enjoyed her garden, flowers and trees, a Maple tree in her memory was planted.
