Tempo Maguires, in memory of the late Orla and Paul Bogue, organised two special underage football blitzes in St Patrick's Park last Saturday.

Competition one was for under 12 teams comprised of boys and girls in the morning session with a minor tournament for girls being played in the afternoon.

Six teams competed in both competitions, two Tempo sides, Maguiresbridge,Coa, Newtownbutler and Belnaleck in the younger section, Tempo, St Patrick's, Belcoo, Enniskillen, Newtownbutler and Brookeboro in the minor girl's event.

Contesting the under 12 final were a Tempo selection and Maguiresbridge with victory going to the visitors while Brookeboro overcame St Patrick's in the latter decider.

Presentations were made by Thomas and Angela Bogue, parents of Orla and Paul.

The tournament was a most successful and enjoyable one with a big attendance of parents throughout the course of the day to support the efforts of all the youngsters.

Tempo club officials wish to express their appreciation of the support that they received from the competing clubs and from the local businesses who provided welcome sponsorship.
