Vote for Patrick Kielty

Ahead of his return to the stage where he made his acting debut, the Grand Opera House and GBL Productions are calling on the people of Fermanagh to vote for Patrick Kielty as Best Solo Performer in the What's On Stage West End Theatre Awards due to be decided at the end of January.

Patrick was nominated in a short list of six following his highly successful seven-week run at the Trafalgar Theatre, London playing Kenneth Norman McCallister in Marie Jones' worldwide smash hit comedy, 'A Night In November'.

GBL Productions spokesperson and Producer of the play, Martin Lynch said, "This is fantastic. Bearing in mind this is Patrick's acting debut in the theatre, his nomination among the best that the West End has to throw up is just amazing. It's a great testament to the hard work and dedication, not to mention the natural ability that Patrick has brought to the role."

Grand Opera House Director, John Botteley, said, "We are delighted for Patrick and for GBL Productions. We are proud that the production originated in our theatre and we wish Patrick all the very best with the awards. We are also delighted that the play is returning next week. Bookings are terrific and it looks like we're heading for a sell-out."

Voting for Patrick is easy and only takes a few minutes, all you have to do is: Visit www.whatsonstage.com; On the homepage click on the Theatregoers Choice Awards; Click on Vote Now; Scroll down the nominations list and vote for Patrick Kielty in the Best Solo Performer category.

Voting closes at the end of January so vote now!

'A Night In November' runs at the Grand Opera House from Monday 21 – Saturday 26 January. Tickets ranging from £11.75-£28 can be booked by calling into the Grand Opera House Box Office in the theatre foyer, online at www.goh.co.uk or by phoning 028 9024 1919.
