Clinton singing workshops return

Valerie Whitworth, the popular singing tutor from World Folk Singing Choir MUSAIQ is coming back to Fermanagh as part of the District Council's Art of Regeneration Programme.

This is a six week course of three part+ harmony unaccompanied traditional folk singing. It will start at the Higher Bridges Gallery, Clinton Centre on Thursdays 8pm – 10pm weekly from Thursday 24th January and running to the 28th February 2008.

SUITABLE

This is a course for adults and suitable for those with an ear for music, in particular song, and who have a natural ability to harmonise and sing by ear rather than from sheet music.

Folk songs from all over the World will be taught as well as English Folk songs.

Valerie is a qualified singing tutor who will also teach vocal techniques within the course weekly, this is excellent for professional singers and emerging talent.

Beginners are Welcome.

For more information contact Diane Henshaw (Arts Officer for Fermanagh District Council) at: 028 6632 5050, email: diane.henshaw@fermanagh.gov.uk or simply just turn up on the night.
