Oil thieves

Police are appealing to home owners and construction workers to be extra vigilant in maintaining the security of oil tanks following an increase in the number of reported thefts in the area. People working on construction site are also been advised to take extra care. Meanwhile, anyone who has spotted any suspicious activity in relation to the theft of oil is asked to contact police on 0845 600 8000 or Crimestoppers confidentially on 0800 555 1114

Window broken

Police are appealing for information into an incident in which a front window was broken at the Movie Zone premises in Irvinestown some time between Saturday night and Sunday morning last, 26-27th January.
