'Get Business' border networking event comes to Enniskillen

Businesses from both sides of the border are invited to attend a special networking event in the Killyhevlin Hotel on Thursday, 12th June.

'Get Business' is a free event which will bring together up to 40 businesses from throughout the country along with 12 buyers from large private and public sector organisations to have prearranged one-to-one meetings.

The aim of these meetings will be to showcase products, share information and explore possible collaboration.

John Reilly, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sligo County Enterprise Board said any business that has attempted to arrange meetings with key buyers or businesses would appreciate just how much effort, time and work is required to set up such meetings.

"Get Business will help businesses avoid all this work by offering you the opportunity to meet up to 12 buyers and 40 businesses, all in one day and under one roof."

There will also be an opportunity for businesses to hear from local businessman, Peter Quinn and participate in an 'Ask the Expert' session.

"Peter will talk about the Quinn Group", Mr Reilly went on, " and how their family-owned business has become one of Ireland's most successful companies, while 'Ask the Expert' session allows attendees to ask experts in the fields of business and marketing for advice and help with issues specific to their business."

'Get Business' is part of the Business Transition Programme and is a joint initiative between Sligo and Leitrim County Enterprise Boards and is funded by Border Action and part-financed by the Irish Government.

The programme aims to develop small businesses from across the border region to a level where they will secure new markets, consolidate existing jobs and expand, through developing cross-border trade and partnerships.

Demand for 'Get Business' is expected to be high, so booking is advised. To avoid disappointment contact 028 79628113 or e-mail 'info@b-r-e.net net.
