Summer courses at Gortatole


The long tradition of summer courses at Gortatole Outdoor Education Centre in Florencecourt will continue again this year throughout July and August.

These residential courses are aimed at particular age groups (10-20yrs) providing age-related activities which not only entertain but provide opportunities for both personal and social development as well as prolonged engagement with a healthy outdoor adventurous activity. More information can be obtained from www.welbni.org to see the range of courses available and to download application forms. Early application is advised.Information and application forms for the Summer programme can be obtained from libraries, schools and youth groups registered with both the Western and Southern Education and Library Boards. Schools and youth groups will also receive the brochure of bookings for the academic year 2009–10.
