Police appeal follows early morning road traffic accident


Police are appealing for information following a serious single vehicle road traffic collision in Ederney in the early hours of Monday morning.

Police received a call from ambulance control at approximately 2.18am reporting an accident on the Castlederg Road at Drumbrick, Ederney.

CRASHED

A white Vauxhall caddy van hit a tree and then crashed into a wall. The male occupant got out of the driver's window before falling unconscious.

The occupant was removed to the Erne Hospital and later transferred to the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast where his condition has been described as critical.
