The Fermanagh Special Olympics Committee has thanked all those who contributed to the recent check-out collection in Dunnes Stores. As a result, £549 was raised.

And, there are other fund-raising ideas in the pipeline. The ball has been donated for auction by Pat McCaffrey from Western Cars.

Meanwhile, the Special Olympics Committee is on the look-out for volunteers to give a few hours of their time to Special Olympics Fermanagh on Friday, April 24th for their 'bucket day'. Call Nuala.

Upcoming fund-raising events include 'Dervish' in concert at Mahons Hotel this Friday, April 17th.Tickets are available on 028 68621656.

On April 18th there is a Golf Classic in Blacklion (Phone 00353 87 6811913), and on April 19th a Motorbike Run in Enniskillen (Phone Aideen on 07968 135310).
