NORTHBROOK Technology's centre in Strabane has been shortlisted for two awards in the 2007 Customer Service Awards for Ireland for Customer Services Team of the Year Telecommunications and IT and Back Office Customer Service Team of the Year.
Strabane is the Technical Support Centre for Allstate, the parent company of Northbrook Technology of Northern Ireland, Ltd which is one of the largest insurance companies in the United States, providing car, property and life insurance. The Strabane Centre provides telephone based technical support for over 30,000 Allstate agents and employees in America.
The Exclusive Agency Support Team at Strabane is shortlisted for the "Customer Service Team of the Year Telecommunications and IT Services" for exceeding service levels and for delivering high levels of world class customer satisfaction.
The Money Management Centre Team at Strabane is shortlisted for the "Back Office Customer Service Team of the Year" for its high speed of data entry combined with a very high level of accuracy. Errors in values keyed results in significant administration with customers and banks, and lead to poor customer relationships. The team regularly achieves an average of 1 error in 65,000, acknowledged as a world class level of achievement.
Being shortlisted for these awards is a notable achievement for the employees at Northbrook Technology's Strabane Centre considering the impressive list of companies that took part in the scheme.
