STRABANE District Policing Partnership is holding its next meeting in public on Wednesday, March 14, at 7.30pm in the Newtownstewart 2000 Centre.

District Commander Superintendent Hugh Hume will present a progress report on policing of the district in the first nine months of 2006/07.

The local police chief will then respond to monitoring questions posed by members of Strabane DPP.

CRIME

Strategies to reduce crime, particularly criminal damage, domestic burglary, sexual offences and theft in Strabane District are among some of the areas to be dealt with during the meeting.

Half an hour at the end of the meeting is allocated for questions from the floor.
